Greetings, exile , and welcome to the downside. You've found Perdure, a fanlisting and eventual tribute to Jodariel — and also a verb, named for when one persists beyond all reason, beyond hope. She perdures. Not a nevertheless she persisted moment;
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah.

That's half the feel of Pyre, the 2017 Supergiant game that contains Jodariel. You're not quite certain the significance of the words used in the narration, nor are the characters themselves quite sure why they are to do what they do. Still: they move forward. Exiles all, ejected one way or another by a mysterious commonwealth into a wasteland that feels increasingly like the afterlife. Jodariel has survived the longest, with the horns to show for it: when you linger too long in exile, you become a demon.

A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join.
